Jawaskia Lake better known as JL, is an American Artist, Songwriter & Producer. JL was born in Bolivar, TN where the journey began after singing in a quartet group with his mother and family. JL tapped into the R&B industry with the hit single "Paint A Picture" in 2007. He gained multiple show opportunities opening for some of the greats in the music business. His music has been played on radio stations such as the Steve Harvey Morning Show, Sheryl Underwood Show and has topped the charts in UK as well. JL recently released a southern soul single titled "Party" which topped the Itunes Blues Charts at #17. He has been featured on several tv shows including the Miss Tennessee Pageant and more. JL has produced commericals for Kia, Mazda and many others. While making his way through the music industry, JL started a record label, "SouLink Music" and clothing line. He has many singles and albums featured on all digital outlets. JL has shared the stage with Tank, Anthony Hamilton, Ginuwine, Keith Sweat, Lyfe Jennings, Brian Mcknight,  Calvin Richardson, Avant and more.
